OREANDA-NEWS. METALLOINVEST (the “Company”) has received a diploma at the All-Russian contest “The Best Russian Companies. Dynamics, Efficiency, Responsibility – 2012”. The Company was recognised in the “Successful debut in non-financial reporting” category for its 2009-2010 report on corporate social responsibility. The award ceremony took place as part of Russian Business Week.

Eduard Potapov, CEO of Management Company METALLOINVEST, commented: “This was our first step in the CSR field, and represents our efforts to increase the Company’s efficiency and transparency in the area of sustainable development.”

The collation of data for a report enables the Company to analyse the results of its sustainable development work and the impact of projects in the territories where it has operations. It also provides the opportunity to coordinate and efficiently manage the elements of the Company’s core approach to social responsibility.
