OREANDA-NEWS. Post Modern Technology (PMT), a member of Armada group (MICEX-RTS: ARMD) announces successful completion of the project on implementation of the Medical Information System (MIS) MEDIALOG in Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of Healthcare Ministry of Russian Federation.

More than 200 working places have been automatized in the Institute within the first stage of the system implementation. When PMT specialists started the process, the Institute had already had its own developed system on 1C:Enterprise platform which served the main functions of record-keeping and registration of patients. During the process of implementation of MIS MEDIALOG, the system on 1C platform remained allowing the exchange of the data on the patients from one system to the other and use 1C base as an archive, as the export required the shared use of the information from the both systems.

At the moment the out-patient department of the Institute has an automatized management process for the patient flow, namely the procedure for arrangement of an appointment to consult a doctor, registration and creation of electronic forms of the appointment cards for treatment and diagnostic procedures, consultations and laboratory research. The hospital of the Institute has automatized processes of registration of the patients, electronic record-keeping for planned hospitalization and execution of related documents. Besides, there is a special system for management of bedspace and electronic outpatient and hospital medical records.

The administration of the Institute is going to create a special solution on the basis of this implemented system for other federal centres of traumatology and orthopedics.
