OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2013. Seeng the real combustion value, it made up USD 388.31 mln. in Q1 2012, USD 398.01 mln. in Q2, USD 398.15 mln. in Q3, 2012 and USD 399.58 mln. in Q4, Moldovagaz informs. In 2011 it equaled to USD 292.88 in Q1, USD 321.71 in Q2; USD 368.39 in Q3 and USD 402.27 in Q4.

The price for gas for Moldova is calculated on a formula including a price Gazprom sells gas to non-CIS states for the last 9 months of a year preceding the year of the supply. It is established every quarter deepening on prices for gas oil and mazut for 9 months preceding a quarter of the supply.

Till 2011 the formula included a decreasing coefficient for Moldova to switch over to European prices gradually. Since 2011 Moldova has bought Russian gas at European prices.
