OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2013. The Government is working on an assignment of the President of Ukraine on entering our country in the top 100 countries of Doing Business ranking. To do this an appropriate action plan is implementing, which contains of 18 key positions defined by the National Action Plan for 2013. This was started by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov at a Meeting of the Economic Reforms.

According to Serhiy Arbuzov, even in a difficult 2012 we could significantly simplify the starting and termination of business activities, reduce the lists of permissive documents and normalize licensing procedures. As a result Ukraine has risen by 15 places in the Ranking of economies - Doing Business.

In 2013, the Government continues to work to increase the investment attractiveness of the country. And we have significant shifts in the first quarter of 2013 in particular, a number of proposals to reduce the expenditures of taxpayers for reporting and fulfillment of obligations to the state. To do so, the bills for the submission of documents for registration of VAT payer directly to the state registrar, implemented a mechanism of economic activities without the use of stamps and so on.

"Opened Ukrainian economy should significantly increase its attractiveness to investors both internal and external. The government is well aware that to survive and develop - are two different concepts. For medium-and long-term growth of the economy of Ukraine we need more strong factors, among which the most important - investment. That is why pursuant to orders of the President of Ukraine government is working to radically change the approach to the formation of the business climate in the country," the First vice Prime Minister said.

Serhiy Arbuzov said that the effectiveness of further steps in the implementation of Government reforms to simplify the business environment is highly depend on the passage in Parliament of government bills. "Therefore, we expect from the Parliament expediting of consideration of the bills submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers," Serhiy Arbuzov said.
