OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2013. In Tashkent, an international exhibition "Education and Profession – 2013" opened at the Youth Creativity Palace.

The event was organized with the assistance of the Fund "Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan" and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the Centre of Youth Initiatives Kelajak Ovozi, Centre for the promotion of youth employment, agency of "Education Voyage" and the newspaper "Karera+".

The exhibition is attended not only by the representatives of local universities and companies, but also from such countries like the United States, Malaysia, Russia, the Czech Republic, China, Great Britain, Singapore and Japan.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Qayumov and others made speech. They emphasized that this international exhibition contributes to the preparation of highly qualified personnel, as well as increasing the efficiency of employment of young specialists.

In our country, consistently implemented programs aimed at gradual reforming of the education system. Law "On Education" and the National Program for Cadres Training adopted on the initiative of President are an important factor for young people in obtaining a deep education, realizing their full potential and gaining place in the society.

The national program for cadres training contributes to the education of highly qualified, competitive specialists for all sectors of the economy, to ensure the effective integration of science and production, spiritually and moral education of the youth on the basis of national and universal values, as well as the successful decision of problems of stage-by-stage improvement of the system of education as a holistic educational and scientific-industrial complex, development of mutually beneficial international cooperation in the field of cadres training.

The graduates of specialized secondary and vocational educational institutions come to the enterprises of our country well trained professionals who have mastered chosen profession deeply and a good knowledge on the production process. Young men and women in professional colleges have the opportunity not only to study general subjects, but also acquire professions that are in demand in the labour market.

An important task in this field also perform high schools, in which students in addition to profound studying of the subjects of academic direction also receive knowledge in specific specialities. After finishing vocational colleges and academic lyceums, boys and girls have the adequate knowledge to enter institutions of higher education and continue education in the chosen speciality.

Approved by the resolution of the President Islam Karimov the program of modernization of the material-technical base of universities and radical improvement of the quality of training for the years 2011-2016 serves as an important factor in the further development of education system in the country.

Today, every boy and girl have the opportunity to study in the national or foreign universities, deeply learn the secrets of information and communication technologies and to acquire a modern profession. International Exhibition "Education and profession – 2013" contributes to harness these opportunities.

The main objective of the exhibition is close acquaintance of young people with the modern methods of training in Uzbekistan and abroad, changes and innovations of domestic and world educational systems, exchange of experience and further development of direct contacts between universities, as well as helping young people in the choice of educational institutions and the provision of jobs in certain areas.

More than 20 leading universities and language centres of such countries like Uzbekistan, the USA, Malaysia, Russia, the Czech Republic, China, Great Britain, Singapore and Japan, as well as many employer organizations take part in the exhibition.

The leading firms and companies in our country have a good opportunity for the selection of candidates for available vacancies right at the exhibition. Here, not only graduates of educational institutions, but also experienced specialists can find a job.

The exhibition undoubtedly will contribute to the further development of international cooperation of our country in the field of education, training and employment of qualified broad specialists.
