Khlibne Becomes Powerful Pig Complex Due to MEGABANK Assistance
OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2013. "AC "Khlibne", LLC (Lozova district, Kharkiv region) became a powerful pig breeding complex due to MEGABANK’s assistance as well. According to Olexander Skrypnyk the director of the agricultural company, "Khlibne" started working in 2005; the basic type of activity is pig breeding.
The company has been cooperating with MEGABANK since 2010 when it obtained the right to perform livestock breeding and considerably increased quantitative indicators of its activity. Thanks to MEGABANK’s loans provided within its cooperation with the European Fund for South-East Europe (EFSE) the company’s current activity was financed. It enabled to start building a new sow farm according to Danish technologies. Nowadays a new 300 m2 pig complex is built. It accommodates 50 breeding sows simultaneously. State-of-the-art equipment corresponds to the world standards. Currently the total number of livestock is 2,000 head.
Reference. "MEGABANK" is actively cooperating with international financial organizations. Nowadays it has 17 international long-term programs within concluded loan agreements for UAH 1,422 mln. in equivalent with 10 investors including:
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: 2 programes to support micro, small and medium sized businesses for USD 20 mln. and for USD 15 mln. correpondently and energy efficiency program in Ukraine for USD 13.5 mln.;
Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW): program to support small and medium sized businesses for USD 10 mln. and the loan on terms of subordinated debt for USD 6.5 mln.;
International Finance Corporation (IFC): the loan on terms of subordinated debt for USD 7 mln. and program to support small and medium sized businesses for USD 9 mln.;
OJSC "Ukreximbank"/the World Bank line: the 2-d export development project in Ukraine for USD 24.5 mln.;
German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF): program to support micro, small and medium sized businesses for EUR 5 mln.;
European Fund of South-Eastern Europe (EFSE): 4 programs to support micro, small and medium sized businesses for USD 27 mln., including support program for agricultural.
