United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) announced that it has completed its public offerings of USD275 million aggregate principal amount of 6.875% senior notes due 2021 (the "Senior Notes") and USD 316.25 million aggregate principal amount of 2.75% Senior Convertible Notes due 2019 (the "Convertible Notes"), including USD 41.25 million aggregate principal amount of Convertible Notes related to the underwriters' over-allotment option, which was exercised in full.  Net proceeds to the Company totaled approximately USD 576.6 million after deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and U. S. Steel's estimated offering expenses.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co., and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the joint book-runners for these offerings.
