OREANDA-NEWS. Erste Bank und Sparkassen: Customer transactions amount to around EUR 70 mn a month at bank terminals in OMV VIVA filling stations

OMV first started its cooperation with Erste Bank und Sparkassen three years ago. The 24-hour bank service, which is now available at more than 180 “bank outlets” across Austria, has proved to be extremely successful. Popular services not only include traditional cash machine services but also deposit and transfer services. “Transactions worth around EUR 70 mn are carried out at our OMV service terminals every month,” says Peter Bosek, Member of the Management Board of Erste Bank responsible for private and corporate customers. The number of transfers again increased by 20% compared to a year previously and cash deposits increased by as much as a third. “This is a clear signal that our customers value being able to use our services outside the main branches.”
