OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2013. An official delegation headed by Vice Governor Xu Kezhen of Hubei Provincial Government conducted an inspection visit to the Steel Structure Company of China First Metallurgical Construction Group (CFMCC Group).

Vice Mayor Shao Weimin of Wuhan Municipal Government and Chief Yu Shiping of Xinzhou District accompanied the Vice Governor during the tour. Vice General Manager Huang Tao of CFMCC Group showed them around the workshops in the Pressure Vessel R&D Base and inspected the productive operation of the company.

Xu Kezhen was debriefed on the development planning of the steel structure industry and the scientific innovation of CFMCC Group. He also learned about the difficulties encountered by the company. Shao Weimin paid keen attention to the technical research and development of tanks on LPG and LNG carriers. Shao also placed a high premium on the great achievements made by CFMCC Group in enterprise management, independent innovation and professional training on welding operation.

The Vice Governor encouraged CFMCC Group to: (i) further accelerate the industrial transformation and upgrading through investment basing upon its own advantages; (ii) take the scientific innovation as the acting point, so as to promote the product transformation and upgrading; and (iii) endeavor to enhance the technical content of the products and the market competitiveness.
