Based on the manufacturers’ results in January-February, ASM Holding analysts give their current annualized Russia vehicle production forecast for the full year 2013: passenger cars – 1,985,694 units (of them foreign models 1,337,135 units); trucks – 202,834 units (of them foreign models 31,221 units); buses – 57,347 units (of them foreign models 10,225 units). The forecast of car production surpasses the last five years’ best result (1,968,789 units in 2012) by 0.9%, while annual forecasts of truck and bus output yield to the best production results of 2008 by 20.1% and 14.4% respectively.
