OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus exported 221,500 tonnes of potash fertilizer (in terms of 100% potassium chloride) in January 2013, up 31.8% on the year, the National Statistics Committee told.

Potash fertilizer exports to the CIS states grew 49% to 3,600 tonnes, other foreign states – up 31.5% to 217,900 tonnes.

The average price of Belarusian potash fertilizer in January 2013 stood at USD 618 per tonne, down 18.8% on the year. The average price for potash shipped to the CIS states reduced by 5.6% year on year to USD 638 per tonne, and reduced 19% for other foreign states to USD 617 per tonne.
