OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2013. The Government conducts a comprehensive and systematic work of proceedings saving technologies in housing and communal services (HCS), modernization of boilers, reducing energy consumption, and the thermal rehabilitation of buildings.

So Ukraine has reduced consumption of natural gas by utilities by 10% since 2010. This was stressed by vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul while offsite meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing in Kharkiv.

He also said that the Government has developed a program on activization of the economic development for 2013-2014 years: "One of its components is import substitution, including production in Ukraine energy efficient boilers. It provides support to domestic producers and reduces energy consumption in the country".

An example of such a system work is one of the district boiler-house of Kharkiv, where vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul held offsite meeting.

An experimental boiler Ukrainian production is installed at this boiler-house, which saves up to 40% of natural gas consumption.
