Ukraine, Hungary Intend to Broaden Transport Corridors
OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2013. Ukraine and Hungary have an intention to enlarge transport corridors. This was declared by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov on the results of his meeting with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
“We have decided to enlarge the existing transport networks in the frontier regions. We will also carry activities in increase of serving to our citizens who cross the state border,” Mykola Azarov told.
The parties agreed to hold Days of Hungarian culture in Ukraine and of Ukrainian culture in Hungary.
Moreover, Ukraine and Hungary intend to provide grants for mutual education of students in educational institutions.
Besides, the interlocutors achieved consent concerning activization of cooperation in energy area, notably, with regards to the development of nuclear energy, increase of supplies of Ukrainian power energy to Hungary and transit to Ukraine of European gas via Hungarian territory.
