OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2013. Wizz Air, the largest low-cost, low-fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced today further route growth at its Vilnius base with a low fare service to Kiev, starting from LTL 112.

This direct flight between the Lithuanian and Ukrainian capital cities is in line with Wizz Air’s strategy to offer a varied route network connecting exciting secondary airports as well as primary airports such as Vilnius and Kiev. The Kiev Zhulyany airport is conveniently located at just 8km of Kiev city centre and will be the perfect entry point to the Ukraine for both revellers and business customers flying on Wizz Air’s low fares.

It is expected that this route will also be very popular among Ukrainian citizens with the Ukraine already seen as a fast growing emission market for tourism in Western Europe. The new Vilnius-Kiev route will be operated by Wizz Air Ukraine and can already be booked from today on wizzair.com.
