OREANDA-NEWS. The number of foreign aircrafts making technical landings at the Turkmenbashi International airport increased twice that is caused by attractive fuel price. In accordance with the Resolution of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the aircrafts of world airlines are refueled at the air harbor on the Caspian Seacoast at reduced prices during almost a year. Due to this farseeing policy, the currency earnings obtained in return for servicing transit flights have increased as much as 6.5 times. 

The Turkmenbashi International airport was built in compliance with the highest standards set to modern traffic centres of its kind. Its new airstrip 3,500 metres long and 60 metres wide is able to serve aircrafts of all types. Special equipment produced by world-known manufacturers, including centralized filling station significantly speed up the service of aeronautical engineering.

The specialists of the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service are planning to open new international flights Ashgabat-Moscow, Ashgabat-Astrakhan, Ashgabat-Istanbul and other cities of Europe and Asia through the Turkmenbashi transit unit that will satisfy the requirements of the rapidly developing Avaza National tourist zone.
