OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2013. The China Shipping Gazette recently held the "2013 China Shipping Industry Awards & Shippers Spring Festival Gathering" in Beijing at China National Convention Center. The focus of attention was the winners of the China Shipping "Top 100 of the Year". ICBC Leasing was one of the "2012 Top 100 - Top 10 Innovative Enterprises in Shipping Support", in recognition of its several innovative services in shipping leasing over the past 12 months, including the innovative approach and comprehensive financial services to the shipping industry.

Since 1995, "China Shipping Industry Awards" is a well-known annual event in China's Shipping industry (shipping, harbor and others) organized by the China Shipping Gazette in collaboration with China Communications and Transportation Association, China Shipowner Association, China Port Association and China Shippers' Association. Winning the award is a significant acknowledgement of ICBC Leasing's business goal of "Responsibility, Top-of-the-Class, Innovation".

In 2012, despite the ongoing downturn in shipping market, ICBC Leasing completed many innovation projects and was the most active market player by tapping into new areas such as marine engineering, luxury cruises. The industry was very impressed by ICBC Leasing's full spectrum of financial solutions provided to customers.
