OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2013. President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved new preferences for foreign investors.

Uzbek leader signed a decree “On introduction of changes to decree of President of Uzbekistan “On additional measures on stimulating attraction of foreign direct investments” from 10 April 2012.

The decree said that the enterprises with foreign investments are exempted from tax duties at importing property for own needs from 1 January 2013. The preference is provided for two years from the date of registration.

The document said that new preferences is provided to enterprises with foreign investments, in which share of foreign partners makes up at least 33%.
