OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2013. A delegation from International Cooperation Department of Ministry of Science and Technology conducted an inspection tour to the jobsite of Jinsheng Emag Project contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Group (SBC-MCC Group).

The delegation was headed by Meng Shuguang, Counsellor for Sciences and Research of Chinese Embassy in Germany. The relevant leaders of Jintan Municipal Scientific Technology Administration and President Zhang Yueping of Jinsheng Group accompanied the delegation during the visit.

Meng was debriefed by Zhang Yueping on the project execution progress at first. Then he inspected the jobsite and talked with the employees of SBC-MCC Group on the site. Meng Shuguang placed a high premium on the project implementation. He encouraged the staff to make persistent efforts for timely completion of the project on a quality basis, and thus make contribution to the collaboration between Germany and China.

As the inventor of inverted machine tool, Emag Group has established itself into the third largest manufacturer of high-end numerically-controlled machine tool in Europe. With quite a few products taking a leading position in the world, Emag is deemed to be the industrial pioneer in terms of both technology and quality. Now Emag plans to establish Emag (China) Machinery Co., Ltd. in Jintan City of Jiangsu Province, a manufacturing center aiming at Asia-Pacific markets, covering a total floorage area of 340,000 square meters.

After completion, the new plant will produce 3,000 high-end numerically-controlled machine tools, as well as 6.8 million sets of high-precision gear transmission system and the double-wheel system for high-speed rail. Under this project, SBC-MCC Group was awarded with the EPC contract for construction of the new plant, consisting of office building, manufacturing workshop, assembly workshop, power house and the relevant out-doow works.
