OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2013. The Cabinet at its meeting has approved a plan to implement in 2013 the National Program of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU legislation. The relevant order determines the central authorities responsible for carrying out the relevant tasks and set deadlines for their implementation.

According to the Minister of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych, the document, in particular, contains of 58 measures to adopt regulations to adapt Ukrainian legislation to EU legislation and identified in the decisions of the National Security and Defense dated on March 12, 2013 "On urgent measures for the European integration of Ukraine ".

In particular, tasks are related to adoption of legislative and passing other regulations provided by the Plan of Action for the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine. And also the implementation of measures to ensure the necessary conditions for the signing in 2013 of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Among the main performers of these activities often appear Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice. And also, given its objectives, to implement them will be involved in the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, the Central Election Commission, General Prosecutor’s Office, the State Penitentiary Service and other agencies.

The Ministry of Justice is assigned to continuously monitor the implementation of the plan.
