OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2013. Based on its last year performance results, Nordea Bank was included into the Forbes magazine rating of “Safest Russian Banks” and was ranked 2nd among the peer group of banks with the highest degree of reliability.

The reliability of Top-100 Russian banks was assessed based on the ratings assigned to them by the leading international agencies (Fitch, S&P and Moody’s), as well as by analyzing their assets, equity, retail deposits and loans.

Banks with the highest investment ratings (i.e. stable finances and strong market positions) were included into the top ranking of safest banks. In Russia Nordea Bank enjoys one of the highest ratings assigned by Fitch Ratings agency.
