OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2013. In the coming months, EMT will begin offering new data plans for both smartphones and computers.

EMT will add new 4G plans to address the growing customer demand for 4G wireless service that offers faster speeds and better usage experience. The new plans that will be launched approximately in April will include voice and messaging.

“A few years ago, cell phone users considered data as an add-on service. Today, with the increasing popularity of smartphones, many customers use mobile data as the basis of their selection of communication service,” said Lauri Laheb, Head of Product Management Division at EMT. „Smartphones are used more and more for surfing the web, social networking and handling work-related emails. Thus, EMT’s new data plans will include voice minutes and messaging so that smartphone users will be able to manage with a single plan.”

For those who need to use voice and messaging over allowance, there is an option to subscribe to a separate voice plan. In this case, the user will pay for voice and messaging only after the allowance is used up.

4G voice and data plans for smartphones will be priced from EUR 16-17.

The new 3G plans with faster speeds and more data (voice is not included) will be priced from EUR 6-7.

Data plans to be used with a laptop or desktop computer will also be changed to include 4G plans.
