UTair Released Statement Regarding Flight Delay for Disabled Children
OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation reports follow up information in connection with transport of the group of physically challenged children from Lvov to their homes in Russian cities on March 17th. All the passengers with connecting flights that were re-scheduled on the 18th of March have already departed to their destination airports.
All the passengers who missed their connecting flights because of a delay in arrival at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow were provided with hotel accommodation and hot meals during the unexpected layover period. UTair representatives were in constant touch with the families. Passengers were provided with free airport transfer from the hotel.
Passengers with flights to Murmansk and Irkutsk scheduled for March 19th have also departed at 22.10 and 19.50 respectively to their destination airports.
UTair Airlines made arrangements to secure transportation for passengers flying to Murmansk who needed to reach their residences in Kirovsk, more than 200 km from the Murmansk Airport.
