OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2013. Sinochem Agro Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinochem Agro), Zhejiang Research Institute of Chemical Industry Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhejiang Research Institute), Sinochem Ningbo Ltd., Zhejiang Hetian Chemical Co., Ltd. and other enterprises under Sinochem Group jointly attended the 14th China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CAC) held in Shanghai. During the exhibition, Mr. Wang Hongjun, Assistant President of Sinochem Group and General Manager of Sinochem Agro visited the pavilion of the company, met with important customers, suppliers and industrial partners from both home and abroad and had in-depth exchanges and productive discussions on market, products, R&D and production.

The pavilions of Sinochem subsidiaries mainly exhibited the company’s science and technology capability in fields like new drug development, process R&D, agent processing, biological assay, safety evaluation, and showcased its invented and manufactured products, proprietary products, products with supply chain advantages and various agrochemicals, further enhancing the brand image of the company and its products.

During the exhibition, Zhejiang Research Institute representative also made a speech entitled “Application and Popularization of New and Effective Pesticide ZJ4042” at the series of themed conferences for “China International Agrochemical Conference Week”, and the new fluorine-included pesticide, of which Zhejiang Research Institute claims proprietary intellectual property rights, aroused the interest of many companies for cooperation.

With an expanding scale and growing international presence, CAC has become the largest professional exhibition for agrochemicals around the globe, and this CAC attracted the participation of corporate representatives from many countries and regions, including Brazil, Germany, India, Italy and the UK.
