OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2013. Presentation of project "PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters" for parliamentarians, representatives of science, culture and business of Saxonia took place in resource center of the "Group of Companies "Titan".

In the course of the excursion around the enterprises of project "PARK" German guests could directly see the clusters which became the basis for the strategy of social-economic development of Omsk region.

In resource center of Group of Companies "Titan" heads of PARK enterprises introduced the saxonian delegation to all the constituents of cluster concept and discussed promising variants of cooperation. Representatives of regional government and Legislative Assembly were among the participants of the meeting.

The discussion was started by the head of the federal project "PARK", Chairman of the Board of Directors of CJSC "GC "Titan" Mikhail Sutyaginsky. He mentioned high level of development of partnership between enterprises of PARK and German companies.

"Within the framework of the project's realization we are already cooperating with more than 40 German companies, which supply technologies and equipment. In the nearest future were are planning to organize joint enterprises on polypropylene processing. We are ready to provide the German colleagues with possibilities of organization of production facilities in Omsk region", - noted Mikhail Sutyaginsky.

Members of the Saxonian delegation asked various questions concerning development of industrial clusters in Omsk region, application of energy saving technologies, ecological safety of enterprises, mechanisms of state-private partnership. Special attention was paid to the issues of cadre preparation for various industrial spheres.

"Saxony does not have enterprises of such a big size. Our firms would not dare to get at realizing of a large-scale project such as "PARK". You are making high-tech production, thus, it is necessary to pay attention to innovative potential and cadre preparation", - underlined Carl-Friedrich Zeis, the Speaker of Saxonian Landtag on Science and Technologies.

Representatives of the delegation were interested in possibility of student exchange between Omsk region and Saxony, development of joint programs for qualification of engineering cadres with consideration of needs of the active enterprises.

"We want actual actions. We are ready to establish cooperation in the sphere of professional technical education, higher education, science", - claimed Mattias Roessler, the President of Saxonian Landtag.

In conclusion of the event the parties agreed to develop actual programs of cooperation between the two regions including the sites of the project "PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters".

The extension of the visit of the Saxonian delegation will be a meeting of Mikhail Sutyaginsky with rector of Freyberg Mountain Academy, professor Bernd Meyer, where they will discuss the possibility of creation of joint Russian-German university.
