OREANDA-NEWS. Central Bank of India organized Outreach Programme at Ekrukhe Village, Tal. Rahata, Dist. Ahmednagar. Programme was presided over by Shri Malay Mukharjee, Executive Director of the bank. In the function smart cards were distributed to the villagers by Shri Malay Mukharjee. He briefed the villagers about the various schemes of the bank and assured them that facility of ultra small branch will be made available as full fledged branch at Ekrukhe village On this occasion loans were also distributed by the bank under its newly launched women empowerment scheme Cent Kalyani and other regular loan schemes including the financial assistance to self help groups. It has informed that in future all government subsidies and NREGA payments will be done through the accounts only.
