OREANDA-NEWS. Doctor Web has updated the module SpIDer Agent incorporated into Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows and Dr.Web Security Space 8.0.

The update resolves an issue when the license registration wizard displayed the license agreement text in English regardless of the system locale.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.

Dr. Web is a Russian anti-virus company, as well as its flagship software suite. It was first released in 1992, and became the first anti-virus service in Russia. The software offers anti-virus and anti-spam solutions and is used by Yandex, Russia's biggest search provider, to scan e-mail attachments. There is also an add-on for Firefox which checks links with the online version of Dr. Web. Dr. Web discovered the Flashback variant that affected more than 600,000 Macs.
