OREANDA-NEWS. In 2012 reforestation was performed at the forest locations in Koryazhma, Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk embracing an area of 35,000 ha. A total of 4 million 700 thousand pine and spruce seedlings and over 1.5 tons of seeds will be planted.

In addition, tending of young stands was carried out over an area exceeding 7,000 ha.

The total area of forest reproduction efforts on leased timberland in the Irkutsk, Arkhangelsk and Vologda Oblasts, the Komi Republic and Krasnoyarsk Territory has increased by 2% to 45,000 ha.
