OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2013. The Moldovan bank Moldova Agroindbank (MAIB) is willing to offer Moldovan farmers financial support to facilitate agricultural spring works. The entire offer of the bank, meant to be used within the agro-industrial sector, would be presented during the 24th issue of the international specialised exhibition “Moldagrotech”, which was inaugurated today at the Moldexpo international exhibition centre in Chisinau.

The MAIB offers credits to purchase equipment, irrigation systems, special equipment for the food and processing industry. The bank also offers credits to help farmers perform agricultural spring works in the field, vineyards, and orchards as well as to grow livestock and domestic birds.

The MAIB would present its specialised products during the specialised exhibition, including credits to purchase and consolidate farmlands. Young farmers would also have the opportunity to benefit from the bank’s financial resources with facilitated conditions.

The bank’s clients, namely legal persons, would benefit from credits amounting to 50 thousand lei, without pledge, and investment credits with pledge up to 80 or even 100 per cent of the project’s total value. The MAIB also offers credits in order to complete the working capital up to 36 months, with an eight-year-deadline for credits offered to invest in the agricultural sector. The bank is also willing to finance newly-created enterprises in the small and medium business sector, to help them launch and develop.
