OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ summed up the results of an annual contest for the best inventive, rationalization, patent and license activities.

The winner selection criteria were the number of engineering solutions used in production and also their cost-effectiveness. The foundry and the forge plant became the winners of 2012. This is the KAMAZ metallurgists’ third victory. They have ranked first since 2010. One of the winners, Nina Fasonova, production engineer of the steel casting department, who took the lead in the nomination “The Best Rationalizer of the Year”, put forward 13 suggestions for rationalization in 2012 and one item of intellectual property. Their profitability made about one million roubles. Another suggestion for the use of a flow metering unit to improve a water removal system brought almost 4 million roubles.

The KAMAZ inventors’ victory once again proves that they are enthusiastic and creative people who can think rationally, bring profitability and use only efficient methods in their work.
