OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2013. According to the results of a special investigation concerning the import of cars to Ukraine, regardless of country of origin and export the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has concluded that the protection of national interests of Ukraine requires special measures to ensure the maintenance of the domestic automotive industry.

The use of special measures, such as forced tool will positively affect the financial and economic situation of domestic producer, enabling it to facilitate the process of economic adaptation to the conditions of competition and lead to the elimination of the influence of trade distortions arising in consequence of conditions of import of automotive products to Ukraine.

Operation of special measures will help to restore the volume of production and sales of own production vehicles, give a positive impact on the conservation and renewal of employment with the related industries.

National car producers are located in different regions of Ukraine and are budget-enterprises, which have a significant impact on employment in Zakarpattya, Cherkasy, Poltava, and Zaporizhya Regions, and therefore, support their activities will contribute to the development of social services and increase revenues to the budgets of all levels.

These steps will make car manufacturing in Ukraine attractive for business, which aim is to manufacture vehicles in Ukraine. Within the economic recovery from the effects of Ukraine's financial and economic crisis to support domestic automotive industry is one of the priorities that will contribute to economic restructuring, increase investment and stimulate economic growth.
