OREANDA-NEWS.  March 19, 2013. The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services expects to conclude 6700 mortgage contracts under the program of cheapening of mortgages 3 +13%.

This was announced by the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennadiy Temnyk during a conference call with the regions of the country, which he held at the Government House on behalf of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul.

"All of the programs of state support for purchase housing by citizens should be stepped up significantly this year. State does all necessary. Recently, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution which lifted temporary restrictions on the application of the regulatory area of housing in the calculation of partial compensation for mortgage loans. Last week, the Inter-ministerial Commission has determined to participate in the program 335 housing units for the acquisition of 13000 apartments. It should be noted that among there are 113 objects, which have been placed in service. Now it is a meter of the local executive authorities," said the head of the Regional Development Ministry.

Gennadiy Temnyk recalled that the implementation of social initiatives of the President of Ukraine for cheapening the cost of mortgages continues this year and for this purpose in the state budget provided UAH 300 million. According to him, for many regions remains an important question of promotion programs of cheapening of mortgages, inspection of accreditation of developers in banks and providing them with the necessary assistance.

"I stress that the Ministry will carry out continuous monitoring of the implementation of all the programs of state support for purchase of housing by citizens, including the program of cheapening of mortgages. I recall that the regional leaders are personally responsible for the amount of signed credit agreements and timeliness of receiving of the housing by citizens. In general, the construction of affordable housing should be the basis for the development of housing in the country," Gennadiy Temnyk said.
