OREANDA-NEWS. Following the results of 2012, Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding continued regular development and sustained growth. Consolidated proceeds of the Holding’s subdivisions made UAH 826 mln in 2012, including retail proceeds amounting to UAH 668.3 mln, and wholesale proceeds totaling to UAH 157.7 mln. Taxes and charges (VAT, income tax, trade patents) were paid to the total amount of UAH 2.2 mln.

In 2012 Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding focused on increasing the number of sales outlets and maximizing customers’ service standards. Thus, Zdravitsa Pharmacy Chain was extended with 5 pharmacies over the last year, and Dobri Liky Pharmacy Chain was enlarged with 13 sales outlets, more than 12.5 mln customers were served.

The year of 2012 became significant for Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding owing to widening the scope of activities: in summer Regional Wholesale Pharmaceutical Company ASTA joined the Holding, a product line with own Flaura trade mark was launched, a high tech laboratory making prescription medicines was opened at a pharmacy of Dobri Liky chain. Currently this lab is the only one in Donetsk that is completely prepared for compounding individually prescribed medications for population and healthcare facilities.

Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding is a responsible employer. 110 new working places were created in 2012. Today the Holding employs 1350 persons in total. About UAH 63.4 mln were paid as salaries and remuneration in 2012.

Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding pays much attention to the employees’ training: over UAH 400 ths were allocated for personnel development programs in 2012. Day by day the employees of the Holding master new technologies, gain knowledge and skills that help them to maintain high quality of customers’ servicing and reach new heights in business. The representatives of the Holding take an active part in various public events: last year Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding participated in the National HR-brand Award Ceremony and became the winner in several nominations.
