OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ OJSC Lidakhlebprodukt has started installing equipment supplied by Buhler AG (Switzerland) at a new factory in Grodno Region to produce a short variety of macaroni, a Belarusian company representative told.

The new facility with an estimated annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes of pasta products is due to get operational in June 2013.

An official representative of Buhler AG is due to arrive in Grodno Region on March 12 to supervise equipment installation operations, which last for 3 months.

The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at 20 million euro.

The factory will get another pasta production facility in 2014 to make sure the estimated annual capacity grows to 20,000 tonnes.

Lidakhlebprodukt has announced a tender to choose a supplier of shelf storage facilities. The closing date for applications is April 1, 2013, with equipment shipping date set at April 15 – May 15.

Lidakhlebprodukt started operating in 1980 to get reincorporated as an open joint stock company in 1996.

The company has a flour factory, a grain storage facility, a fodder factory and a packing department.
