Lukashenko Approved National Investment Program for 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2013. President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 126 to approve the national investment program for 2013.
Br6,324.4 billion will be injected into the program. Br6,292.4 billion will be allocated from the state budget, including Br400 billion from the President’s reserve fund and Br710.5 billion from the state targeted budget fund of national development.
The program provides for the construction of 303 socially-important facilities, including 57 restarted projects. Some 108 facilities will be put into operation.
The President’s reserve fund will finance the reconstruction with partial renovation of the building of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater, construction of a swimming pool in the Belarusian State University of Physical Education and a freestyle training center in Minsk. The state targeted budget fund of national development will sponsor the construction (reconstruction) of Belarusfilm film studio, the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater, the national center of positron-emission tomography, a track-and-field center in the Belarusian State University of Physical Education, the national center of Olympic training in winter sports Raubichi, the nuclear power plant, the Bereza state district power plant, exterior engineer networks of the automobile plant, the aviation repair plant, the second ring road in Minsk, the bridge on the Mukhavets River and other objects.
In 2013 the program will allow commissioning a surgery unit and an intensive care, reanimation and anesthesiology department of the national research center of pulmonology and phthisiology, a sports and recreation center in the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, the Students’ Village complex, the second phase of the construction of the Tennis Palace in Minsk, the spiritual education center of the Belarusian Orthodox Church in Minsk, a sewerage pump station with engineering networks of the Shabany industrial zone, etc.
There are plans to complete the reconstruction of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater, the operation unit of the main military medicine center, a swimming pool of the Belarusian National Technical University, checkpoints Grigorovshchina and Privalka, a number of facilities of the Central Botanical Gardens of the National Academy of Sciences, the 19th century palace in the village of Zalesye, Smorgon District, and the Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Borisov (a historical and cultural specimen of the 19th century) and other facilities this year.
The construction of dormitory No. 2 in the Students’ Village complex, the palace of team sports in Polotsk, the reconstruction of the Mir Castle Complex, the Mother and Child research center, Belarusfilm premises, a shooting range and a track-and-field center of the Sports Committee of the Armed Forces of Belarus, facilities of the Belarusian National Technical University, the national center of Olympic training in winter sports Raubichi, the Holy Dormition monastery in Zhirovichi and other facilities will be continued.
In 2013 there are plans to launch the construction of a new aviation repair plant, transport and engineering infrastructure facilities outside the border of the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park, the reconstruction of the Holy Intersession Convent in Tolochin, Vitebsk Oblast.
