Representative of TATNEFT Awarded Order of Honor
OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2013. The ceremony of presenting State awards took place at the Presidential Hall of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. Rafael Nurmukhametov, Head of NGDU "Leninogorskneft", was among those awarded the Order of Honor.
State awards of the Russian Federation to the best representatives of various trades of the Volga Federal District were presented at the request of the State Head by Mikhail Babich, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District. Orders, medals and honor badges were awarded to the top 20 representatives from different areas of the Volga Region.
Opening the ceremony Mikhail Babich said: "We have gathered here to present State awards to people for their selfless and dedicated professional work ... Present in the hall here there are representatives of industry, science, education and culture. In addition to my congratulations to you with the awards, I would like to congratulate your labor groups - this is their merit as well".
Rafael Saitovich Nurmukhametov was born on August 10, 1949 in Buzavyazy village, Karmaskaly Regon of Bashkir ASSR. He has been in the position of the Head of NGDU "Leninogorskneft", part of JSC TATNEFT, since 1989.
He is Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry of the Russian Federation, Honored Oilman of RT, Honored Worker of the Fuel and Energy Sector of the Russian Ministry of Energy, Honored Oilman of the Ministry of Energy & Fuel of the Russian Federation, Honored Oilman of JSC TATNEFT, winner of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of science and technology. He was awarded the "Badge of Honor" and "Friendship" Orders, Diploma of Merit of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honorary Badge "For outstanding services JSC TATNEFT and Honorary Badge "For services to JSC TATNEFT".

The Order of Honor is the State award of the Russian Federation, which was instituted by presidential decree No. 442 dated March 2, 1994.
The Order of Honor is awarded to citizens for outstanding achievements in the state, industrial, research, socio-cultural, public and charitable activities allowing significant improvement of the people's living standards, for services in training of highly qualified professionals, education of the younger generation and maintenance of law and order.
Awarding of the Order of Honor, as a rule, is made subject to the possession of another Russian Federation decoration by a citizen of the Russian Federation.
