According to Mihai Mazarenco, who held the office of the Director General of the company till March, 1, being succeeded by Alexandru Zgardan and is going to head the department of the agricultural insurance: „I always considered insurance in agriculture very important and promising. Under my guidance the company obtained the respective licenses and now I can make an absolute commitment to this area”.

Alexandr Zgardan, who assumed the office of the Director General, said the company is going to intensify the retail insurance, continuing giving its support to corporate clients, which has always been a strong point of the company. He also said the company is going to focus on partnership with western insurers and re-insurers, remarking that most insurers of Moldova are being oriented at East now. Alexandru Zgardan is 35 years old.

Being the professor of business law, he professed at the Academy of Economic Knowledge of Moldova, in China, Singapore and some European countries, worked for ASITO, Garantie, and Victoria-Asigurari, and has headed the First Pension Fund (Primul Fond de Pensii) for three years.
