OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2013. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Samara region (Samara OFAS Russia) will open the Centre for Studies in Antimonopoly Policy and Competition Law on the basis of Samara State Economic University.

The work of the Centre will be aimed at increasing qualification and improving professional knowledge of students of competition law and studying modern antimonopoly regulation.

“Training will be oriented, first of all, towards officials of local self-government bodies and the authorities of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation”, pointed out the Head of Samara OFAS Russia, Leonid Pak.

At the same time, anybody will be able to take part in the project and gain knowledge in the field of competition and antimonopoly law.

“It will facilitate understanding of the scope of antimonopoly law and their rights by our citizens”, added Leonid Pak.
