FAS Took Part in Session of Steering Group of ICN
OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2013. Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Anatoly Golomolzin took part in a session of the Steering Group of the International Competition Network (ICN) organized as part of a visit of the Russian antimonopoly authority to Paris for participating in OECD Global Competition Forum.
The Steering Group outlined the priority areas of its work through ICN Working Groups and discussed the following questions:
• A joint ICN – OECD project towards intensifying cooperation and areas of further cooperation;
• Introducing and using ICN products in the work of competition authorities;
• Organizing ICN annual conference in Warsaw;
• A special project of Morocco’s Competition Committee on state-run enterprises for 2014;
• Adopting ICN Work Products Catalog and AISUP (Advocacy & Implementation Network Support Programe) Information Brochure;
• A new member joining ICN – Ecuador’s Superintendency for Market Power Control;
• The Steering Committee and electing ICN Chairman for the period of 2013-2015;
• Candidates for hosting ICN annual conference in 2015;
• Events of ICN Steering Group for the forthcoming period.
Anatoly Golomolzin put forward a project initiative for studying pricing on oil and oil products markets, according to which ICN must prepare materials on the issue directly accessible for all antimonopoly authorities – ICN members.
