OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2013. The statement was made at the annual extended Collegium of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) by Sergey Borisov - the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “OPORA RUSSIA”, a national non-governmental organization of small and medium business.

He talked about interaction between FAS and small business and about competitive market ability. “We and FAS are partners and we make many steps towards increasing the number of market participants. Nevertheless, 17% of respondents in Russia still mention signs of unfair competition in the country, therefore we must continue joint efforts for increasing the number of market players”, said Sergey Borisov.

He also pointed out that in terms of competition the state does everything possible for normal development and functioning of small and medium business. “It is the Antimonopoly Service that fights for restoring the rights of business representatives and we are prepared to continue helping them in these efforts”.

He also stated that apart from creating a favourable environment for developing big business, for many years “OPORA RUSSIA” has been a successful advocate of the rights of small and medium business. “Quality is born when small business becomes an equal participant of competition”, summed up Sergey Borisov.
