OREANDA-NEWS. Today, on the 13th of March, the representative delegation from Kazakhstan has arrived at KAMAZ at the end of its working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation including more than 30 politicians and businessmen of Kazakhstan is headed by Askhat Nuskabay, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan. Accompanied by Aleksandr Gusev, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ruslan Kabirov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Rafail Gafeev, General Director of Foreign Trade Company KAMAZ, the guests saw the main assembly line and a cab assembly line of the automobile plant, an exhibition of automotive equipment at the R&D Center of the company, visited enterprises located on the premises of Kamsky Industrial Park Master.


The heavy-duty truck market of Kazakhstan is one of the largest and promising markets for KAMAZ. Over the last years, Kazakhstan has been KAMAZ’s second outlet after Russia. More than 2.8 thousand KAMAZ vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan last year. As a result, the share of Russia’s leading truck manufacturer on the market of new vehicles with over 16 t GVW made 34%. The main purchasers of the company’s products are agrarian, oil-and-gas, municipal enterprises, as well as security, defence and law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan.
