OREANDA-NEWS. According to Domodedovo Airport results for February 2013, passenger traffic increased by 16.6% compared to February 2012 and amounted to 1.85 million travelers. The overall flights number for February 2013 grew by 6.1% and totaled 17.3 thousand takeoff and landing operations.

The largest passenger traffic growth recorded in domestic airlines (DAL) adding + 23.3% to February 2012; reaching 835 thousand passengers.

International passenger traffic for February 2013 grew by 11.6% compared to February 2012 and amounted to 1.0 million travelers.

Domodedovo freight traffic for February 2013 reached 14.5 thousand ton that is 7.7% higher compared to February 2012.

According to the first two months 2013 results, Domodedovo passenger traffic amounted to 3.9 million people. Passenger traffic increased (+14.8%) compared with the same period in 2012. Flights number grew by 6.9% and amounted to 36.8 thousand takeoff and landing operations.

January-February 2013 passenger traffic results on domestic routes totaled 1.6 million passengers that +19.1% higher than for two months of the last year. The utmost growth recorded on the following internal directions: Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Makhachkala, Chelyabinsk. Passenger traffic on these directions reached 394 thousand people, that 30.6% higher than for two months of the last year.

International passenger traffic for 2 months of the current year totaled 2.3 million people. (+ 12,0% to January-February 2012). The highest growth was recorded on the following international routes: Hurghada, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Kiev, Munich, Yerevan. In January-February 2013 425 thousand passengers were transported for the mentioned directions, that by +49,8% higher compared to 2012.

Domodedovo airport freight traffic for January-February 2013 increased by 10.1% compared to the same period of 2012 year and totaled 26.5 thousand ton.
