OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank CIB’s delegation of Dmitry Kanushkin, Senior Banker, James Corrigan, Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Sector, Investment Banking Department, and Julia Gordeeva, Senior Analyst at Sberbank Investment Research2 will be taking part in MIPIM, an influential and prestigious real-estate themed show which is scheduled for March 12-15 at the Festival Palace in Cannes, France. Sberbank Asset Management will be represented at the event by Alexey Novikov, Real Estate Funds Director.

The members of the Sberbank CIB delegation will also participate in a number of events as part of the show. Scheduled for March 12: Mr Kanushkin – “Re-invest, The Institutional Investor Summit”; Mr Corrigan – roundtable “Investments 2013: Russia & Europe”; Ms Gordeeva – conference “New Government, New Objectives”; Mr Novikov – conference “The influence of socially significant events on the development of the construction industry in Russia.” Scheduled for March 13: Mr Kanushkin – roundtable “Top Real Estate Trends in Moscow & the Regions”; Mr Corrigan – roundtable “Russia: Discover and Invest”; Ms Gordeeva – “Russian Breakfast.”

At the event, Sberbank will have a stand at which a presentation devoted to the services Sberbank CIB offers to companies in the real estate market will be held. Using already completed deals as examples, the presentation will outline Sberbank CIB’s integrated approach to working with real estate clients and demonstrate the key advantages offered by the Sberbank Group’s corporate and investment banking business to its clients.

Sberbank’s stand, which will be styled under the motto “We Build the Future,” will be open during the entire time of the MIPIM show. Visitors to the stand will have the chance to acquaint themselves with the main facts and figures which testify to the scale of the Group’s operations and its capabilities in the corporate financing and investment banking market as well as Sberbank CIB’s extensive experience financing development projects. The stand will also feature high-tech novelties, a lounge-zone with Sberbank’s signature “Green Bar.”

The annual MIPIM show, which in 2013 is being held for the twenty-fourth time, is a high-profile event for the entire real estate industry. For several days, the majority of the industry’s most promising markets will be the focus of investors who will be representing eighty-nine countries. A number of the seventy sessions planned for MIPIM will be devoted to Russia, China, Turkey, Brazil, Japan, and countries in Africa.
