OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2013. For the ninth time the Belarusian State University Law Faculty has been receiving guests within its walls on 1 and 2 March for the Belarusian Student Law Competition – a large-scale forum for future lawyers, one of the few places where young experts can gain useful experience and apply their knowledge.

The Olympiad involves students of legal specialties from higher educational institutions in Belarus.

Participants have the chance to prepare the legal opinion, analyse the incident and make a presentation on position regarding civil and economic disputes, and to act in a mock trial of a criminal case.

The jury consists of representatives of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Economic Court, the General Prosecutor's Office, the National Centre for Legal Information and representatives of law firms, which includes Belarusian office of SORAINEN as an honorary member of the jury and organiser of the event.
