OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2013. JSC “MOESK” is continuing to implement the program to reduce human intervention on the environment. So, in 2013 the Company plans to direct over RUR 3 mln for the environmental protection measures only in the Southern Moscow Region.

Branch of JSC “MOESK” – Southern Electric Grids (SEG) is making a big organizational and practical work, aimed at man-caused loads reducing on the natural environment. To control the norms observance of the pollutants content in atmospheric air and surface waters, carrying out of an instrumental department control of tests of sewage and drain waters, tests of atmospheric air, is planned. Within a year they plan to carry out the arrangements to make diagnostics of the fuel systems of cars and technical maintenance of a washing room of a transportation department in Podolsk and Serpukhov distribution zones (DZs).

Works on the efficiency increase of the waste treatment facilities’ operation of the storm sewage system will be continued in Domodedovo district. The planned technical maintenance of the waste treatment facilities with a substitution of a filterable upload will make it possible to support the normative contaminant concentration on clean water to outfall, conforming to the modern requirements of the environmental protection legislation.

As head of the division of the environment protection of SEG Vladimir Krupnov specified, for 2013 a big program is planned on a subsequent environmental improvement of the Southern Moscow Region, the new environmentally friendly technologies introduction, efficiency increase of the arrangements carried out. And non-formal approach to solving the ecology problems at an enterprise will make it possible to conform in the future to the claims, lodged by the International standards with regard to this issue”.

JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” believes the following goals to be its strategic goals: a priority of the new technologies introduction, promoting to a reduction of the lands contamination with oil products, introduction of the modern methods and means to treat waste; negative impact reduction of the economic and other activities of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” on the environment, which lower than a level established by the norms of acceptable exposure on the environment.
