OREANDA-NEWS. Since April 26, 2013 Rossiya Airlines OJSC will introduce flights to Syktyvkar from Pulkovo Airport. The capital of the Komi Republic - a new destination of the airline – is the RF city of republican status.

The introduction of this flight on St. Petersburg – Syktyvkar air route will be one of the airline innovations in the spring-summer schedule providing wide geography of flights from Pulkovo Airport to cities of the Russian Federation, CIS and non-CIS countries.

The direct flight to the capital of the Komi Republic will be convenient for both passengers and tourists going for a trip to the Northern Ural. Transfer passengers from Syktyvkar will be provided with convenient connections and further flights within the wide route network of the airline.

Rossiya Airlines is the fastest growing Russian airline among other air carriers performing flights from Pulkovo Airport. In 2012 it demonstrated the maximum passenger flow increase (700,000 people) and the maximum number of takeoffs and landings. Currently the airline route network from Pulkovo consists of 96 destinations.

Flights to Syktyvkar are also performed by Nordavia – Regional Airlines and UTair Airlines.
