OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2013. At the regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank on Tuesday, Governor of Eesti Pank Ardo Hansson gave an overview of the economic situation in the euro area.

The members of the Executive Board discussed the reaction of the general public to the VEB Fund audit and concluded that Eesti Pank has done everything within its power to explain and give an overview of the issue.

The Supervisory Board received a review of the 2012 report of the Internal Audit Department and appointed Janno Kase an internal auditor as from 8 March 2013.

The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank will be held on 7 May.
