Crude Oil Production
The amount of 2,000,010 tons of crude oil was produced at the JSC TATNEFT in February with the above-the-plan production in the amount of 51,390 tons. 4 208 954 tons of crude oil were produced during two months with the above-the-plan production amounting to 102,914 tons (102.5 %). 4,138,861 tons of oil were delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 120,301 tons.

New Drilling
The new drilling penetration for two months of 2013 amounted to 87.1 thousand meters (100 thousand meters in 2012). Of this amount 66.4 thousand meters (72.1 thousand meters in 2012) were penetrated for the JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 65.2 thousand meters and exploratory drilling amounting to 1.2 thousand meters. 7.6 thousand meters (8.8 thousand meters in 2012) were penetrated for the subsidiaries of the JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 7.3 thousand meters and exploratory drilling in the amount of 0.3 thousand meters.

52 wells (48 wells in 2012) were constructed and delivered to the customers with 34 wells (30 wells in 2012) delivered to the JSC TATNEFT, including 34 wells of production drilling. 4 wells were delivered to the subsidiaries of the JSC TATNEFT: 2 wells of production drilling and 2 wells of exploratory drilling.

Active Well Stock Drilling
The penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores during two months of 2013 amounted to 7.7 thousand meters (6.3 thousand meters in 2012). 3.5 thousand meters (3.6 thousand meters in 2012) were drilled for the JSC TATNEFT.

10 wells (7 wells in 2012) were delivered to the customers. Of this amount 5 wells (6 wells in 2012) were delivered to the JSC TATNEFT.

38 drilling crews have been performing well drilling operations since the beginning of 2013; 11 drilling crews are engaged in drilling lateral and lateral horizontal wellbores. One drilling crew performs drilling to the bituminous deposits of Ashalchinskoye field for NGDU “Nurlatneft”. The penetration per crew during two months of 2013 amounted to 2,241 m, while in 2012 the penetration per crew amounted to 2,456 m.

11.3 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Repair of Wells
In February 2013 remedial servicing operations were performed in 746 wells (742 wells in February 2012) and during two months 1332 wells were repaired (1387 wells during two months of 2012).

14 wells were repaired outside the Republic of Tatarstan, including 12 wells for “Tatneft-Samara”, and 2 wells for “Tatneft- Severny” (7 wells were repaired during the first two months of 2012 with 5 wells repaired for "Tatneft-Samara" and 2 wells for “Tatneft- Severny”).

The workover operations were performed in 386 wells during two months of the current year (242 wells in February), including production string sealing performed in 38 wells, shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals were performed in 26 wells, transfer of wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 35 wells, liquidation of downhole complications and cleaning of production casing and bottomhole in 23 wells, installation of isolating packers and dual completion systems in 23 wells and physical liquidation and re-liquidation in 3 wells.

98 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (63 in February), including 23 wells worked over through the annulus.

Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 91 wells (51 wells in February of 2013 and 62 wells during two months of 2012). The cumulative incremental crude oil production amounted to 6 million 400 thousand tons.

4 small diameter wells were drilled and completed for the JSC TATNEFT by the workover crews during two months of 2013. Drilling of one well for NGDU “Prikamneft” and one well for NGDU “Aznakaevskneft” is being performed at present.

Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed in 383 wells (226 wells in February), including chemical methods applied in 200 wells (113 wells in February).

The incremental crude oil production resulting from application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 1,048 thousand tons (940 thousand tons during 2 months of 2012) with application of chemical methods accounting for 433 thousand tons (429 thousand tons during 2 months of 2012).

Bottomhole area treatment operations with application of the JSC TATNEFT’s technologies were performed in 489 wells during 2 months of 2013.

Production Performance of the JSC “TANECO”

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 577.1 thousand tons of crude oil and yielded 573.0 thousand tons of oil products in February 2013.
