OREANDA-NEWS.  “VimpelCom Ltd” (“VimpelCom”, “Company” or “Group”) (NYSE: VIP), a leading global provider of telecommunications services, today announced changes to its Management Board.  With effect from 7 March 2013, Robert Conway, Chief International Affairs Officer, will leave VimpelCom and will no longer be a member of the Management Board.   Taras Parkhomenko, who was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s subsidiary in Kazakhstan, is appointed a member of the Management Board and will report to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
