OREANDA-NEWS. Branch of JSC “MOESK” – Western Electric Grids has set in operation a new (0,4 – 6 kV) distribution grid in settlement Oktyabr’skiy of Istra district. To increase the power supply reliability of the population center’s consumers, the branch’s power engineers have reconstructed fully 0,4 kV overhead line (OL). A modern self-supporting insulated conductor (SSIC) was used under the distribution line construction. To increase the quality of the voltage supply of electric power, two indoor straight through transformer substations (TS) each by 400 kVA were installed in the houses, energized on a loop system.

147 applications were filed by the dwellers of settlement Oktyabr’skiy to the customer department of Istra DZ (distribution zone) for the engineering specification issuance, for the grid connection to the new electric power supply system. As of today more than 40 houses have been connected.

For several years the Western Electric Grids together with the administration of Istra district and administration of Bukarevskiy settlement have been achieved a transfer of ownerless grids to the balance of the settlement and of the district. The issue was solved positively in the middle of the past year. The power engineers of JSC “MOESK” renovated quickly and fully 0,4 kV subscriber grid, which had belonged some time ago to a local poultry farm. Long-desired street lighting appeared in the settlement’s streets.

In the course of connection of the dwellers to the new electric grid, the power engineers of Istra distribution zone (DZ) of the branch, are preparing quickly a necessary batch of authorization documents, are visiting each facility to receive and certify fulfillment of the points by an applicant, in accordance with the specifications.

Such arrangement – is a vivid example of a constructive dialogue of the local authority and power engineers, as regards the issues of the problems solution of ownerless facilities of the electric-power industry. Before this, the power engineers of JSC “MOESK” fulfilled such task in rural settlement Islavskoye of Odintsovo region.
