OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Magnit” (the “Company”; MICEX and LSE: MGNT) is pleased to announce the opening of new hypermarkets.

Please be informed that today the Company has opened its 129th and 130th hypermarkets.

The 129th hypermarket of a medium format is located at 30 Zhukova street, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, Volga federal district. Assortment of the hypermarket consists of more than 14,200 SKUs, out of which about 68% are food items. There are 23 cash desks installed in the sales area. The hypermarket is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 11 pm.

The 130th hypermarket of a small format is located at 58 Saratovskoe shosse, Balakovo, Saratov region, Volga federal district. Assortment of the hypermarket consists of more than 10,600 SKUs, out of which about 68% are food items. There are 19 cash desks installed in the sales area. The hypermarket is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 11 pm.

In accordance with the unaudited IFRS management accounts for 2012, Magnit recorded consolidated revenues of approximately USD 14,430 million USD and a consolidated EBITDA of USD 1,524 million USD.
